Please deliver your repeat prescriptions to the Surgery. Always use the computer request slip. There is a box in the lobby for you to put this in.
For new medication, not prescribed by doctors at this Surgery, please provide a hospital letter or container.
Try to give at least 48 hours notice.
Please do not ask for repeats over the telephone as this can lead to errors
There is a collection service from the surgery by Boots at Sileby and Barrow upon Soar and by Riverside Pharmacy in Sileby.
We also have the facility for you to order repeat prescriptions on-line using your own internet connection.
From time to time you will be asked to come in and see the doctor or nurse to ensure you are receiving the correct medication and that you are taking it correctly. This is a good opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have.

If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months, or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC. The charge for a single prescription item is £7.20, whereas a three month PPC will cost you £28.25 and a 12 month PPC £104.00.
There is further information about prescription exemptions and fees on the NHS website
